Defence pensioners and family pensioners facing difficulties with the SPARSH pension system can seek direct assistance at a special outreach camp scheduled in Bengaluru.
The Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (PCDA), Bengaluru, will organise the programme on 4 and 5 November 2026, providing assistance with pension-related grievances and Digital Life Certificate (DLC) submission.
The initiative is being conducted under the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Ministry of Defence, as part of the nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0.
Dedicated teams will be available to examine pension-related concerns and assist beneficiaries with the required procedures.
What pension-related assistance will be available?
The outreach programme primarily focuses on two services.
SPARSH grievance assistance: Pensioners can approach officials regarding unresolved pension complaints, difficulties with SPARSH records and other pension-related queries.
Digital Life Certificate submission: Beneficiaries can obtain assistance in completing their annual Life Certificate requirements at the venue.
The programme offers an opportunity for direct interaction with the concerned officials, although complex grievances may require additional verification and follow-up.
Which documents should Defence pensioners carry?
Participants have been advised to bring their original pension and identification records.
The recommended checklist includes:

- Ex-Servicemen Identity Card
- Pension Payment Order (PPO)
- Bank passbook
- Aadhaar Card
- Aadhaar-linked mobile phone for applicable authentication
- PAN Card
- Previous grievance applications and supporting documents, if applicable
Keeping these documents ready will help officials verify pension details and examine pending complaints.
Digital Life Certificate 2026: When should pensioners submit it?
The annual Life Certificate is necessary for the continued disbursement of pension.
The general submission schedule for Central Government pensioners is:
The early submission facility for pensioners aged 80 and above provides additional time to complete the requirement.
The nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0 will continue throughout November 2026.
What if pensioners cannot attend the Bengaluru camp?
Attending this camp is not compulsory for Digital Life Certificate submission.
Defence pensioners unable to visit PCDA Bengaluru can use recognised SPARSH Service Centres during the November campaign or other authorised submission channels applicable to their pension records.
For assistance regarding the Bengaluru programme, beneficiaries can contact 8147527246 through the reported helpline or WhatsApp facility.
The outreach camp does not introduce any additional pension, arrears or new financial allowance. Its objective is to make existing pension services more accessible and help beneficiaries address unresolved problems.
