Defence officers के पास leadership, discipline, crisis handling, administration, manpower management, logistics और decision-making का strong background होता है। लेकिन civilian sector में entry करते समय यही experience सही language और सही course के बिना properly visible नहीं हो पाता।
इसी gap को bridge करने के लिए Directorate General Resettlement, यानी DGR, retired और retiring defence officers के लिए resettlement courses चलाता है।
FY 2026-27 के DGR officer courses उन officers के लिए important हैं जो retirement के बाद private sector, public administration, facility management, corporate operations, HR, logistics, healthcare, aviation, data analytics या governance-related roles में structured transition चाहते हैं।
