चार वर्ष तक military uniform पहनने के बाद जब एक Agniveer service से बाहर आता है, तब उसके पास training, discipline और field experience तो होता है—लेकिन अगला career अपने आप तय नहीं होता।
Chhattisgarh Government ने इसी transition को राज्य की तीन uniformed services से जोड़ने का फैसला किया है।
22 July 2026 को Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai की अध्यक्षता में हुई State Cabinet meeting में eligible Agniveers के लिए चुनिंदा Class-III direct recruitment posts में 10% reservation को मंजूरी दी गई। यह benefit फिलहाल Police Constable, Forest Guard और Jail Warden के पदों के लिए बताया गया है। इसका लाभ उन Agniveers को मिलेगा जिन्होंने चार वर्ष की service पूरी की हो और valid service certificate के साथ discharge हुए हों।
यह फैसला नौकरी की guarantee नहीं है।
लेकिन यह military service से civilian government career की ओर जाने वाले Ex-Agniveers के लिए एक नया reserved pathway जरूर बनाता है।
Cabinet ने वास्तव में क्या मंजूर किया है?
Available government broadcaster update के अनुसार Agniveers को निम्न posts की direct recruitment में 10% reservation दिया जाएगा:
- Police Department में Constable
- Forest Department में Forest Guard
- Jail Department में Warden
Decision State Council of Ministers की बैठक में लिया गया। Government का stated objective Ex-Agniveers को बेहतर employment opportunities देना और state services को उनकी military discipline तथा experience का लाभ दिलाना है।
Media reporting के अनुसार Cabinet ने Chhattisgarh Reservation of Vacancies in Class-III Civil Services for Agniveer Soldiers Rules, 2026 को मंजूरी दी है। हालांकि detailed gazette text या department-wise implementation notification अलग से देखना जरूरी होगा।
2024 की घोषणा से 2026 के Cabinet decision तक क्या बदला?
इस policy की शुरुआत 2024 में हुई थी।
26 July 2024 को Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai ने कहा था कि Chhattisgarh के Agniveers को service पूरी करने के बाद Police Constable, Forest Guard और Jail Guard recruitment में priority दी जाएगी। उस समय fixed reservation के लिए guidelines बाद में जारी करने की बात कही गई थी।
