The 8th Central Pay Commission has issued an important notice for stakeholders in Uttarakhand and nearby regions. As per the official notice dated 30 March 2026, a team of the Eighth Central Pay Commission will visit Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on 24 April 2026 for stakeholder interaction.

This update is significant for Central Government organisations, institutions, unions, and associations that wish to present their views directly before the Commission. The notice clearly states that interested stakeholders who want to interact with the Commission during its Dehradun visit must submit a request for appointment on or before 10 April 2026.

According to the notice, such requests have to be sent by email to manish.kr1975@nic.in. The Commission has further mentioned that the venue details and the meeting schedule will be intimated separately at a later stage.

This development is being seen as an important step in the consultation process of the 8th Central Pay Commission. These regional interactions are expected to help the Commission gather inputs from different stakeholders, including employee bodies and recognised associations, before shaping its recommendations. For employees, pensioners, unions, and staff organisations, such meetings are often considered a valuable opportunity to place their concerns, suggestions, and demands before the Commission in an official manner.

The notice has been issued under reference number No.25/1/2026-App/8CPC and carries the signature of Manish Kumar, Director, Eighth Central Pay Commission. The wording of the notice makes it clear that this is an official engagement process for organisations and associations desirous of meeting the Commission during its visit to Dehradun.

For central government employees and unions tracking 8th CPC developments, this notice indicates that the Commission is actively moving forward with stakeholder consultations on the ground. Such visits are closely watched because they often provide a platform for employee representatives to raise issues related to pay revision, allowances, fitment factor, pension matters, and service conditions.

Stakeholders planning to approach the Commission should keep the deadline in mind and ensure that their request is submitted before 10 April 2026. Since the detailed venue and schedule will be shared later, organisations that intend to participate may need to complete the appointment request process within the stipulated time to be considered for the interaction.

In simple terms, the key takeaway from this latest 8th CPC update is that the Commission’s team will be in Dehradun on 24 April 2026, and interested central government bodies, institutions, unions, and associations have been invited to seek an appointment in advance. This makes the notice an important update for all those following 8th Pay Commission news and waiting for official consultation opportunities.
