Indian Army की JAG Entry Scheme 125th Course (April 2027) law graduates के लिए officer entry का specialised route है। लेकिन इस notification को केवल “10 vacancies निकली हैं” वाली recruitment news की तरह पढ़ना पर्याप्त नहीं है।
असल सवाल है:
क्या आप वास्तव में eligible हैं, और क्या आपकी application selection process तक बिना किसी technical mistake के पहुंच पाएगी?
Official notification के अनुसार applications 17 July 2026 से 17 August 2026, 3:00 PM तक खुली हैं। कुल 10 combined vacancies हैं और CLAT PG 2026 mandatory है।
सबसे पहले: क्या आपको apply करना चाहिए?
Application शुरू करने से पहले इन basic conditions को check करें:
- unmarried male या female candidate
- age 21–27 years as on 1 January 2027
- DOB 2 January 2000 से 1 January 2006 के बीच
- completed LLB degree
- minimum 55% aggregate marks
- CLAT PG 2026 appeared
- Bar Council of India-recognised institution
- required degree और marksheets available
इनमें किसी core condition को पूरा नहीं करने पर application submit करने से पहले official notification दोबारा verify करना चाहिए।
Final-year LLB students के लिए सबसे बड़ा confusion
Notification में केवल उन्हीं candidates को eligible बताया गया है जिनके पास LLB degree और marksheet उपलब्ध हैं।
इसलिए केवल यह कहना कि “मैं final semester में हूं” पर्याप्त नहीं है।
अगर final degree या marksheet अभी उपलब्ध नहीं है, तो candidate notification की stated condition पूरी नहीं करता।
यह point इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि कई generic recruitment reports केवल “law graduates can apply” लिखकर छोड़ देती हैं।
10 vacancies का असली मतलब क्या है?
कुल vacancies:
10 combined vacancies for men and women
हैं।
इसका अर्थ:
- पुरुषों के लिए अलग 10 नहीं
- महिलाओं के लिए अलग 10 नहीं
- total pool केवल 10 है
Selection को ऐसे समझें:
Applications → Shortlisting → SSB → Medical → Merit → Top vacancy range
यानी SSB recommended candidate भी final joining से बाहर रह सकता है यदि वह merit में available vacancies के भीतर नहीं आता।
CLAT PG 2026 केवल formality नहीं है
इस entry में CLAT PG 2026 mandatory है।
Valid score वही है जो December 2025 में आयोजित CLAT PG 2026 examination से मिला हो। किसी अन्य year का CLAT PG score स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
यह requirement LLM-qualified या LLM-appearing candidates पर भी लागू है।
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात:
Selection Centre पर CLAT PG 2026 result verification भी mandatory है।
Verification न होने पर candidate SSB के लिए eligible नहीं रहेगा और candidature cancel हो सकती है।
क्या कोई fixed CLAT PG cut-off है?
नहीं।
Notification fixed numerical cut-off घोषित नहीं करती।
Shortlisting available vacancies और call-up ratio के आधार पर होगी, और notification highlights CLAT PG score को shortlisting से जोड़ते हैं।
इसलिए “X marks पर SSB guaranteed” जैसी claim official notification से support नहीं होती।
Application submit करने के बाद क्या होगा?
Broad process:
Online application → Shortlisting → SSB centre/date selection → Five-day SSB → Medical → Merit list → Joining letter → OTA Chennai
Shortlisting का tentative period September 2026 है और SSB likely November–December 2026 में होगा।
SSB centres:
- Prayagraj
- Bhopal
- Bengaluru
- Jalandhar
Candidate available date और centre first-come-first-serve basis पर select कर सकता है। एक बार selected option सामान्यतः change नहीं होगा।
SSB clear करना selection की guarantee क्यों नहीं है?
Final merit SSB marks पर बनेगी।
यदि दो candidates के SSB marks समान हों:
- older candidate को higher rank
- age भी same होने पर qualifying exam में higher percentage वाले candidate को preference
Higher degree या previous academic performance को extra merit advantage नहीं दिया गया है।
यही reason है कि केवल SSB recommendation को final joining नहीं समझना चाहिए।
₹56,100 stipend और officer salary अलग हैं
Training के दौरान Gentleman और Lady Cadets को:
₹56,100 per month
fixed stipend मिलेगा।
Training 49 weeks at Officers Training Academy, Chennai होगी।
Training complete होने के बाद commissioning rank:
Lieutenant
होगी।
Lieutenant का Pay Level 10:
₹56,100–₹1,77,500
है।
इसके अलावा Lieutenant से Brigadier तक ₹15,500 per month MSP applicable है। Notification highlights approximate annual CTC ₹17–18 lakh बताती हैं।
लेकिन ₹17–18 lakh को guaranteed take-home salary नहीं समझना चाहिए। Actual earnings applicable allowances और posting पर depend करेंगी।
कौन-सी गलतियां candidature खत्म कर सकती हैं?
यह section application से भी ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण है।
Notification के अनुसार candidature इन कारणों से प्रभावित हो सकती है:
- multiple applications
- गलत DOB
- name mismatch
- parents’ name mismatch
- incorrect CGPA conversion
- CLAT PG result verification failure
- original documents न ले जाना
- false information
- relevant information conceal करना
- application के बाद marriage
Candidate को form submit करने से पहले personal details को Class 10 certificate और बाकी official documents से line-by-line match करना चाहिए।
DigiLocker के भरोसे SSB मत पहुंचिए
Notification विशेष रूप से कहती है कि सामान्य DigiLocker certificate original certificate का substitute नहीं है।
अगर institution physical certificate issue नहीं करता, तभी special condition में institution-authenticated colour printout accepted हो सकता है।
इसलिए SSB से पहले original-document readiness अलग से check करनी चाहिए।
SSB के लिए कौन-से documents तैयार रखने चाहिए?
मुख्य documents:
- signed application printout
- self-attested photograph
- Class 10 certificate and marksheet
- Class 12 certificate and marksheet
- graduation degree, where applicable
- LLB degree/provisional degree
- all semester/year marksheets
- BCI/State Bar registration या recognition certificate
- CGPA conversion certificate
- CLAT PG 2026 scorecard
Documents missing होने पर candidate को SSB से वापस भेजा जा सकता है।
Physical preparation कब शुरू करनी चाहिए?
OTA join करने से पहले minimum standards acquire करने होंगे।

Physical preparation को joining letter मिलने के बाद तक टालना practical नहीं है।
JAG career short-term है या long-term?
Short Service Commission initially:
10 years
का होगा।
इसे:
4 additional years
तक extend किया जा सकता है।
इस प्रकार total tenure 14 years तक हो सकता है।
10th year में eligible और suitable officers को prevailing policy के तहत Permanent Commission के लिए consider किया जा सकता है।
लेकिन PC automatic या guaranteed नहीं है।
क्या पांच साल बाद Army छोड़ सकते हैं?
Fifth year में release के लिए apply करने का special provision है।
लेकिन इसे “5 years के बाद automatic exit” नहीं समझना चाहिए।
Army Headquarters application को merits पर consider करेगा और decision final होगा। Specialised training करने वाले officers पर bond या training-cost recovery conditions लागू हो सकती हैं।
Application deadline को लेकर सबसे जरूरी warning
Portal:
17 August 2026 को 1500 hrs, यानी 3:00 PM पर बंद होगा।
यह midnight deadline नहीं है।
इसलिए last day शाम तक wait करना risky होगा।
Final takeaway
Indian Army JAG Entry 125 केवल law degree रखने वालों के लिए सामान्य recruitment opportunity नहीं है।
Candidate को simultaneously:
- academic eligibility
- CLAT PG requirement
- document accuracy
- SSB performance
- medical fitness
- physical readiness
- final vacancy-based merit
सभी पर ध्यान देना होगा।
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तीन बातें:
कुल vacancies केवल 10 हैं।
CLAT PG 2026 mandatory है।
17 August 2026 को portal 3 PM पर बंद होगा।
Eligible candidate के लिए best strategy simple है:
पहले eligibility verify करें, फिर documents match करें, उसके बाद application submit करें—और SSB तथा physical preparation को deadline के बाद तक न टालें।
